50 Cent inserted himself into the mix after Dipset rappers Jim Jones and Cam’ron reignited their feud earlier this week.
50 isn’t one to hold back on social media, and he made the situation even messier on Wednesday (Jan. 7). “Damn I hope you can all chip in, and get the heat back on,” he wrote in a since-deleted IG post.
The heat jokes surfaced after speculation and unfounded rumors ran rampant on the internet about Capo owing his landlord rent money in the building where Jim records his Let’s Rap About It podcast with Maino, Dave East and Fabolous.
Cam’ron continued to antagonize Jim Jones about the heating situation. “What’s wrong Capo? Ya heat off too? I ain’t know… Hate for you to be 50yrs old wit no heat. What’s ya Zelle bro? I got u,” he quipped in the comments.
50 went into commentator mode while narrating the petty back-and-forth and looking to aggravate Jones even more in the process of taunting him.
“Dam Jim mad, with all this pressure,” 50 wrote in another since-deleted post. “I hope he is alright CAM is laughing at him. LOL maybe they can start a fire and all stand around it.”
The G-Unit mogul continued to troll Jim by posting a clip of Jones and the podcast crew having dinner catered, but everyone bundled up to keep warm. 50’s video even hilariously added swirling wind noises and people shivering. “Damn it man it’s cold as a b—h over there huh? F—k it you Cooo LOL,” he captioned the clip.
50 began feuding with the Let’s Rap About It podcast crew in December following their criticism of his Sean Combs: The Reckoning docuseries on Netflix.
The G-Unit rapper posted an alleged voicemail claiming Jim Jones was behind on rent to the owner of the studio where Jim, Dave, Maino and Fab record their podcast. 50 referred to the podcast crew as squatters and threatened to buy the studio for himself so they could write him checks as their landlord.
Maino, Dave East, Jim Jones and Fabolous returned fire at 50 by taking it to the booth for their “Christmas Special” freestyle titled “Squatter’s Rights.”
