A Palestinian teen left his friend's funeral. Shortly after, he was shot dead, too
They both came from the same village. One witnessed his friend being shot dead by Israeli soldiers. The next day, just after the funeral, he too was shot and killed, this time by by a settler, while throwing stones at a road

As in the iconic Israeli song, they were from the same village. They crossed the same green field and in the evening returned to the square. Perhaps they loved the same girls and hid in the same places. But unlike in the song, neither of them made it back alive. One was killed in front of the other's eyes, and the next day that friend was killed, too, at nearly the same spot. Amar Taamara was 16, Mohib Jibrin 18. They studied at the same school in the town of Tuqu and lived just a few streets apart.
