Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has refused to appear on Fox News after accusing one of the network's hosts of sexually harassing her on television.
The New York Democratic lawmaker made the explosive allegations on Wednesday after being confronted by a Fox News producer, Johnny Belisario, on Capitol Hill who offered AOC the chance to appear on Jesse Watters' show.
'Jesse Watters would like to invite you on his show,' Belisario asked Ocasio-Cortez. 'Would you join him?'
AOC snapped back at the Fox producer: 'He has sexualized and harassed me on his show... He has sexually harassed me on his show. He has engaged in horrific, sexually exploitative rhetoric.'
'That's not true, Congresswoman,' Belisario replied.
The lawmaker then argued that Watters accused her of wanting to have sex with White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.
'It is true,' AOC continued, 'He accused me sleeping – of wanting to quote, unquote, sleep with Stephen Miller. So why don't you tell me what you think is acceptable to tell a woman? Thank you.'
AOC then abruptly walked away from the cameras.

In a recent Atlantic article, Trump aides described Miller as an 'acquired taste' and compared him to Heinrich Himmler, mastermind of Adolf Hitler's 'Final Solution.'
Back in October, Watters claimed on his primetime Fox News show that 'AOC wants to sleep with' Miller.
The shocking claim even prompted his colleague, Greg Gutfeld, to remark: 'That was pretty creepy.'
Watters made the accusation a day after AOC referred to Miller as a 'clown' and alleged he is 4'10.
'It is so obvious. And, I'm sorry, you can't have him,' Watters added
The 47-year-old host added that he knows Miller 'the best' and that he is 'not overcompensating.'
Watters then went on to scold and lecture AOC on what he classified as 'high value men', adding that Miller is the definition.
Back in October, Watters claimed that AOC wanted to sleep with Trump loyalist Stephen Miller

Miller's wife, Katie, was even asked by Watters on a later appearance on Fox: 'What is it like being married to such a sexual matador?'
Katie replied that her husband was 'an incredibly inspiring man' who 'wakes up the day ready to carry out the mission that President Trump was elected to do.'
Ocasio-Cortez on Wednesday night doubled down on the comments she made to the Fox producer.
'You can either be a pervert or ask me to be on your little show. Not both,' she wrote in a post on X. 'Good luck.'
Although Fox has given her extensive coverage throughout her Congressional career, AOC has never sat down for a traditional interview on the television network.
The Daily Mail has contacted Fox for comment.
