Two toddlers have been seriously injured after a truck ploughed into multiple cars at a busy intersection on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Emergency crews arrived at Banya Avenue and Great Keppel Way in Banya, about 30km south of the Sunshine Coast, at 12pm to find at least seven injured people.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said two toddlers suffered 'significant injuries' as a result of the multi-vehicle crash.
One toddler has been rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital while the other was airlifted to hospital in a rescue helicopter.
At least five others, including adults, are stable and being treated at the scene.
An eyewitness at the scene told the Courier Mail they saw people pulling a baby and a child out of one of the vehicles.
More to come.
