A man has been charged with more than 10 offences over his alleged role in a conspiracy to commit a public place shooting in Sydney.
Detectives, with the assistance of tactical operations, raided a house on Isis Street, Fairfield West, about 11.15pm on Sunday.
They allegedly located and seized prohibited drugs and a mobile phone device.
The search warrant was part of an investigation during December into an alleged plot to commit a public place shooting in Sydney’s south west.
Police ordered the occupants to come out with their hands up via loudspeaker, according to shocked witnesses.
A day later, about 8.20pm on Monday, police returned to the house and arrested a 24-year-old man.
He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station where he was charged with more than 10 offences.
These included one count of conspiracy to commit offence unspecified, one count of use, supply or possession of a defaced firearm and two counts of possessing an unauthorised pistol.

The man faces three counts of supplying prohibited drug more than an indictable and less than a commercial quantity, and two counts of supply drugs less or equal to a small quantity.
He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 6 on Tuesday. Investigations are ongoing.
Police had also carried out a second search warrant about 6pm on Monday at a home on Kent Road, Greenacre, where a mobile phone was seized.
During the operation less than 24 hours before, on Sunday, at least three women came out holding up their hands before they were surrounded by officers.
There had been no further arrests after the 24-year-old man.
