Bruins' Morgan Geekie exits mid-game against Rangers to attend to a family matter

The Boston Bruins’ Morgan Geekie had to leave after Saturday’s first period against the New York Rangers because of a family emergency. He played 6:14 in the first period.
“It’s all good. It’s all good,” said coach Marco Sturm. “So we have to watch him to see if he comes back tomorrow, game-time decision.”

Geekie is tied fourth in the NHL in goals, with 25 in 45 games played.
Boston defeated New York 10-2. The Bruins play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.
