Residents of a Baldivis home had a rude awakening in the middle of the night when a car ploughed into their house.
Residents of a Baldivis home had a rude awakening in the middle of the night when a car ploughed into their house, coming to a stop in the lounge room.
Emergency services were called to the home on Poorinda Lane about 1.40am on Sunday after a white Toyota Camry sedan crashed into the property.

Vision from the scene shows the car completely inside the house, having come to a rest on a pile of rubble.
Despite what WA Police described as “significant structural damage” done to the home, the residents walked away unscathed while the driver of the sedan, a 27-year-old man, taken to Rockingham Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Police are still investigating the crash, and have asked anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision to contact Crime Stoppers.

Police probe Edgewater crash that sent child to hospital
Meanwhile, police are investigating a crash on Saturday that saw an eight-year-old child rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash happened on Joondalup Drive in Edgewater about 4.45pm, with a Toyota Hilux travelling north on the road hitting a white Toyota Corolla sedan that was waiting to exit from George Grey Place.
The 31-year-old driver of the Corolla was critically injured in the crash and taken to Royal Perth Hospital, while the eight-year-old, who was a passenger in the Hilux, was rushed to Joondalup Health Campus.
The 47-year-old man driving the Hilux was not injured.
