President Donald Trump has urged top oil executives to invest in Venezuela's oil industry following the capture of Nicolas Maduro by US forces. However, his push has been met with caution, as the conditions for oil firms to invest in Venezuela are not yet met, said Francis Perrin, Senior Research Fellow at IRIS, citing three key requirements: “security, long-term stability and profitability.”
