This time, the opportunity is not only through separate tracks involving Israel-Lebanon, and Israel-Syria, but also as a trilateral arena broadening the range of possibilities. Yet, recent signals from Jerusalem suggest a tilt toward escalation, raising concern that this opportunity may be squandered.
