The desperate search continues for a young woman last seen almost a week ago.
Vijay, 27, was last seen in Orange in NSW's Central Tablelands, where she is from, on December 29, police said on Friday.
She may have travelled to Adelaide or Queensland.
Vijay is of Indian appearance, slim build, 165cm tall, with a medium complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.
Concerns are held for Vijay's welfare, police said in a statement.
Anyone who spots Vijay or has information on her whereabouts has been urged to contact the police assistance line immediately on 131 444 with the reference 995.
Police encouraged a local woman to make a report after she claimed to have spotted a woman who looked like Vijay at a pub roughly 20 minutes from Adelaide's CBD.
It comes as police have also appealed for help to find 41‑year‑old Trisha Graf from Andamooka, a remote town about 600km north of Adelaide.
