The Critics Choice Awards may have kicked off the 2026 awards season seven days ago, but make no mistake: Tonight’s Golden Globes shows all signs of being the true hard launch of the high-wattage events that lead up to the 2026 Oscars on March 15.
How to justify such a statement? It’s in the unequivocal frenzy of emails publicists and stylist agents have been sending out today, as well as the elevated fashion we’re already seeing on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton, site of the 83rd Golden Globes.
Last week’s Critics Choice Awards also will have set some expectations for tonight’s Golden Globes, primarily in who might repeat a win. Will Marty Supreme’s Timothée Chalamet and All Her Fault’s Sarah Snook score back-to-back trophies? Or might fan-favorite cast members from The White Lotus or Wicked: For Good hear their names called? Also, who will win the first-ever Golden Globe awarded to best podcast, a group of nominees that includes Dax Shepard, Amy Poehler, Alex Cooper and Mel Robbins. Finally, given the intel trickling into The Hollywood Reporter’s Style team since early this morning, expect plenty of fashion statements sure to spawn social-media conversations and critiques.
Here’s a look at all the night’s arrivals, which The Hollywood Reporter will update throughout the evening.
