Good Samaritan armed with a golf club confronts alleged carjacker trying to steal woman's Mercedes in Melbourne
Good Samaritans have bravely fought off an alleged carjacker who tried to steal a woman's Mercedes in a brazen daylight attack.

The heroic moment Good Samaritans bravely fought off an alleged carjacker who tried to steal a woman's Mercedes has been captured on camera.
Victoria Police released footage of the attempted daylight carjacking in Richmond, in the inner-city suburb of Melbourne on August 19.
They said a man approached a woman on Swan Street, near Richmond Railway Station, and tried to steal her Mercedes sedan about 4.50pm.
But as the incident unfolded, several bystanders rushed to help the woman and forced the man out of her vehicle, one armed with a golf club.
Police said the alleged offender fled on foot before jumping into a white Nissan Navara with the registration 1OL9CF.
The Nissan was last seen travelling southbound on Cremorne Street.
Police said the woman was unharmed but one of the Good Samaritans had suffered an injury to their face.
Police released CCTV footage and images of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries

Police have released CCTV footage and images on Tuesday and are appealing to the public for help identifying the man.
He has been described as Pacific Islander/Māori in appearance, aged in his mid to late 20s and about 183cm tall with a solid build.
He was wearing a black puffer jacket, black trackpants, white runners and a beanie at the time of the incident.
