‘Heated Rivalry’ Stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie to Star in Audio Romance Series ‘Ember & Ice’
The actors will play fae princes from rival kingdoms in the three-part romantasy series from audio erotica platform Quinn.
Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie are already reuniting for a new project.
The actors are set to to star in a new audio romance series, Ember & Ice, for Quinn, the audio erotica platform announced Monday. Quinn has been teasing the project on social media throughout the weekend.
In Ember & Ice, a three-part Quinn original, Williams and Storrie star as Dane and Finn, two fae princes from the rival Solari and Lunare kingdoms, according to a release. The series, unlike some Quinn stories, does not feature a self-insert character.
The story’s summary says it “draws listeners deep into the world of the story as it unfolds, positioning them as an intimate observer to every moment of tension, longing and intimacy between Dane and Finn” and that it’s ultimately about “choosing love in defiance of expectation.”
“Hudson and Connor have a really special chemistry, and we feel incredibly lucky to work with them,” founder and CEO of Quinn Caroline Spiegel said in a statement. “The way they connect with audiences and show up in the cultural conversation is exciting to watch.”
Williams and Storrie have shot to stardom over the last month following the release of Heated Rivalry, a queer romance series from Canadian streamer Crave, which airs on HBO Max in the U.S. The show, created for television by Letterkenny alum Jacob Tierney, centers around a fictional hockey universe.
Heated Rivalry focuses on two rival professional hockey players — Canada-born Shane Hollander (Williams) of the fictitious Montreal Metros and Russia-born Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) of the fictitious Boston Raiders — as they navigate a years-long secret fling.
The romance was already gaining traction online ahead of its premiere, but it’s become increasingly popular since its debut, even showing a meaningful bump in streams for the music featured on the show. The show’s sixth episode, the last of its first season, . It will premiere on Sky in the U.K. and Ireland on Jan. 10.
