The first big football game of 2026 goes down at Miami Gardens today when the No. 5 Oregon Ducks face the No. 4 Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Orange Bowl. The CFP quarterfinal will be the first playoff appearance for the Red Raiders, thanks to their victory against BYU in the Big 12 Championship. The Ducks ended their season in last year’s quarterfinal when they lost to the eventual champion, Ohio State. Both Oregon and Texas Tech ended the season at 12-1.
