The Israeli Civil Administration in the West Bank announced the approval of a plan on Wednesday to install a roof over a courtyard in the Jewish prayer area at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in the West Bank city of Hebron. The decision follows an order expropriating about 10 percent of the Jewish prayer compound, transferring it to Israeli ownership.
