Israel's oppression of Palestinians is comically absurd

The Association for Civil Rights in Israel was given evidence of security prisoners being starved and petitioned the court to ban the practice. The State Attorney's Office responded that the prisoners were allocated less calories because of their 'sedentary lifestyle'
History teaches us that fascist and authoritarian governments not only employ terror to buttress their rule but have also been characterized by displays of absurdity, kitsch and a comical detachment from reality. The abysmal seriousness with which they viewed themselves and the ridiculous political theatrics they instituted turned them into caricatures of themselves.
