Flood-stricken Queenslanders aren't just fighting off the elements, they're now at risk running into a crocodile.
Frightening footage showed a massive croc sliding off the side of Kruckow Bridge near Babinda, south of Cairns in Far North Queensland, on Wednesday.
A Cairns local said the unusual sight was 'one of the many reasons to stay out of floodwater'.
'With flooding and heavy rains, the crocks get cold, so they get out of the main waterways and head for the shallow backwaters where they can catch some sun and rest up,' they said.
'They will turn up in some very unlikely places.'
Queensland commenters responded in good humour with many it was just another local - a well-known crocodile called Clyde.
'Clyde just checking out the floods,' one wrote.
'He is just there to rescue people when they drive in the flood water. He should have a whistle and a safety vest but he was call in on a day off,' another said.

'Well, there goes swimming for the next six months,' another wrote.
'Clyde, the troll who lives under the bridge,' another said.
Queenslanders have been reminded to avoid driving on flooded roads.
The floods have already claimed one life, a man in his 70s who was found dead in a submerged vehicle at Normanton on Tuesday.
'This is a tragic event and just highlights the message that police continue to push out. Don't drive through floodwaters,' Mount Isa District Acting Superintendent Paul Austin said.
