Police have charged a 34-year-old man with 66 offences after a two-day pursuit in the Latrobe Valley that resulted in a police officer being injured and multiple police vehicles being rammed.
The man was captured when an allegedly stolen red SUV crashed through a garden wall of a home on Anzac Road in Trafalgar on Wednesday morning.

He has now been charged with offences including carjacking, aggravated burglary with an offensive weapon, armed robbery, thefts of five motor vehicles, burglary, reckless conduct endangering life and attempted aggravated burglary.
Police said detectives had been searching for the man following the alleged crime spree when he crashed in Trafalgar.
Police allege the man stole petrol from a petrol station in Tyers in a stolen Mitsubishi at about 8.20am on Wednesday.
Officers then pursued the Mitsubishi on several occasions throughout Morwell and Trafalgar before the Mitsubishi allegedly rammed several police vehicles and collided with a police officer.
Police said the injured male police officer sustained lower-body injuries and was transported to the hospital and has since been released.
The 34-year-old was transported to the hospital after his arrest and was released on Thursday before being charged and remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on January 2.
Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of a man driving a Mitsubishi Outlander along the Princes Highway on Wednesday at about 8.30am to come forward.
