Man, 48, appears in court charged with murdering Indian national after body found on New Year's Day
The body of Kaleem Shaik was found inside a property on Bondway, Lambeth, on Thursday evening following welfare concerns being raised.

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering an Indian national after a body was discovered on New Year's Day.
The body of Kaleem Shaik was found inside a property on Bondway, Lambeth, on Thursday evening following welfare concerns being raised.
Metropolitan Police attended the address at 8pm on the day, and found the body of the 41-year-old inside.
Daniel Levy, 48, of the same road, was arrested on the same day.
On Saturday, the 48-year-old was charged with murder and remanded in custody at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
He is set to appear at the Old Bailey on January 5.
The family of Mr Shaik, who live in India, have been informed of his death and are being supported by specialist officers.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke, who is leading the investigation, said: 'Our thoughts are with Kaleem's family at this very difficult time.
'My team is not currently seeking any additional suspects in relation to this tragic incident.
'We understand the concern this will have caused the local community and residents can expect to see an increased police presence over the coming days.'
