‘Manifest’ Cast Reunion to Take Place on Upcoming Episode of NBC’s ‘The Hunting Party’
Josh Dallas will guest-star on the procedural as the Buffalo Bill-esque character “The Connecticut Cobbler.”
Manifest fans who were crushed by the end of the series in 2023 — you’re in luck.
One of the stars of the supernatural drama will be reuniting with his former colleague on NBC’s The Hunting Party on March 18, forming a cast reunion of sorts.
Josh Dallas will star in the eighth episode of the show’s second season as Elliott Carr, otherwise known as the “Connecticut Cobbler,” a Buffalo Bill-type serial killer who once worked as an artisan shoemaker favoring “only the rarest and most exotic of leathers – think alligator, rhino and people, skinning his victims alive,” according to his colorful character description.
His former Manifest colleague Melissa Roxburgh stars in the show as a former FBI profiler and member of an investigative group tasked with hunting down serial killers like the Cobbler after they escape from a secret U.S. prison. The Hunting Party premiered on NBC in 2025.
It’s a bit of a change in dynamic for the two actors: On Manifest, the two actors played a brother and sister who both were passengers Montego Air Flight 828, a plane that mysteriously lands at its destination five and a half years after it is supposed to. But on The Hunting Party, they will portray enemies as Dallas’ character, yes, makes a new set of shoes.
Manifest famously debuted on NBC in 2018 and was canceled by the network after three seasons, only to be revived by Netflix for a final season after the show shot up the streamer’s charts.
The second season of The Hunting Party premieres on Thursday night on NBC at 10 a.m. ET and PT and streams the next day on Peacock.
