In the early morning hours on Saturday, the United States military launched a series of strikes against Venezuela, capturing the country's president Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. Now detained in the United States, Maduro and Flores have been indicted in New York on charges of narco-terrorism conspiracy and other drug- and weapons- related charges.
