This is the moment a shoplifter was caught with a selection of goods - including eggs and toilet roll - hidden inside her secret skirt. 

The woman was apprehended at a Co-op branch in Earl's Court, west London, yesterday afternoon. 

She was only caught when a customer spotted her 'bulging' skirt that was 'shifting unnaturally as she walked'. 

Staff were left baffled by the staggering amount of goods inside her Mary Poppins-esque skirt - which had a flap hidden under her clothes.

Inside the secret compartment, the thief had over £20 worth of goods.

In the footage, the woman first removed a jar of Bonne Maman preserve costing £3.80.

Next, the woman pulled out three boxes of half a dozen eggs worth £3.20 each.  

She then produced a massive pack of nine toilet rolls among numerous other items inside her clothes.

The woman can then be heard telling staff: 'I'm giving you back.'

'You don't f****** touch me.'

A male staff member tells her to 'Hurry up.'

To which she replies: 'F****** a*******.'

One onlooker said: 'The woman had been moving through the aisles in an unremarkable manner.

'Selecting items that included toilet rolls, eggs and jam.

'Nothing appeared unusual until a fellow customer noticed that the woman's skirt seemed to be bulging and shifting unnaturally as she walked.'

She was stopped near the door.

The Met Police and Co-op have been approached for comment.
