Four years and one month ago, on February 7, 2022, then-Tel Aviv District Prosecutor Gali Baharav-Miara was appointed attorney general. She was the first woman to hold the position. Unknown outside of a small circle of lawyers and judges, and without ever having had to deal with politicians during the first 40 years of her career, she was thrown into the lions' den. She has two years left in office – two-thirds of her term is behind her.
