The message coming from the governing coalition is that "Qatargate," as it is called in a flawed shorthand that misses its moral and diplomatic severity, has nothing to do with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – not only in the sense that he is not suspected of involvement, but also in terms of how it might affect his loyal base's support.
