NFL Week 18 odds, spreads: Seahawks-49ers is a toss-up
The Broncos, Patriots and Jaguars could all clinch the AFC's top seed. The NFC's is down to Seahawks vs. 49ers on Saturday.
NFL Week 18 is here, the Upside-Down of the NFL season, with no Thursday Night Football or Monday Night Football. There are two Saturday games, a billion (14) Sunday games, four teams still vying for a playoff berth, four division titles still up for grabs, both No. 1 seeds still available and three winner-take-all games.
Hell yeah.
In the AFC, the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars all have a path to clinching the No. 1 seed. The Patriots are 10.5-point home favorites over the Miami Dolphins, the Broncos are 7.5-point home favorites over the Los Angeles Chargers and the Jags are 11.5-point favorites at home against the Tennessee Titans.
In the NFC, it’s simpler: It comes down to what happens in the NFC West. The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers face off on Saturday in what amounts to a winner-takes-all scenario for the division and the NFC’s No. 1 seed. (Yes, this feels a little crazy considering the Los Angeles Rams are still the Super Bowl favorites, but will be advancing with a wild-card spot.) The odds have the game as a complete toss-up.
Four other teams will play division rivals in scenarios where the winner almost certainly clinches the division.
On Saturday, the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers play each other in what’s likely a final battle for the NFC South (though there are a few other clinching scenarios). The Bucs are 3-point favorites at home.
After losing to the Cleveland Browns in Week 17, the Pittsburgh Steelers now face the Baltimore Ravens for the AFC North title on “Sunday Night Football.” The Ravens are 3.5-point road favorites with the possibility of getting Lamar Jackson back.
Here are all the games and odds for Week 18.
