Now Trump threatens Cuba: US president urges country to 'make a deal before it is too late' on warning over oil and money
The US President, who previously said 'Cuba is ready to fall', last week floated the prospect of an American-made regime change in communist Cuba, branding the island a 'very badly failing nation'.
Donald Trump has urged Cuba to 'make a deal before it is too late' as he warned the country it would no longer receive oil or money from Venezuela.

Venezuela is Cuba's biggest oil supplier and is believed to send around 35,000 barrels of oil a day to the island.
But since the capture of Nicolas Maduro by the US, Trump has successfully pressed interim President Delcy Rodriguez to send Venezuelan oil to the US.
On Sunday he said there will be 'no more oil or money going to Cuba' as he told the country to make a deal with the US.
In a post on his Truth Social network, Trump wrote: 'Cuba lived, for many years, on large amounts of OIL and MONEY from Venezuela.
'In return, Cuba provided "Security Services" for the last two Venezuelan dictators, BUT NOT ANYMORE!
'Most of those Cubans are DEAD from last weeks U.S.A. attack, and Venezuela doesn't need protection anymore from the thugs and extortionists who held them hostage for so many years.
'Venezuela now has the United States of America, the most powerful military in the World (by far!), to protect them, and protect them we will.

'THERE WILL BE NO MORE OIL OR MONEY GOING TO CUBA - ZERO! I strongly suggest they make a deal, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
'Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT.'
Earlier on Sunday Trump reposted a message suggesting that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who was born to Cuban parents, could become the president of Cuba.
Trump shared that post, which said 'Marco Rubio will be president of Cuba', with the comment: 'Sounds good to me!'
His remarks come a week after US forces seized Venezuela's authoritarian leader Nicolas Maduro in an operation in Caracas that killed dozens of Venezuelan and Cuban security forces.
Cuba and Venezuela have enjoyed close ties for decades and both share a political vision of state-led socialism
