It is doubtful whether Iranian President Masoud Pezhakian will be able to alleviate the difficult economic situation in the country while it is under stifling international sanctions and without a visible political horizon. But, having survived several rounds of mass protests over the last few years, those who see the recent protests as harkening regime change should not be so hasty
