Police have arrested two people and seized weapons and explosive devices from a property in the Bendigo suburb of California Gully.
Victoria Police said investigators attended an address in Truscott Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation into more than 30 offences, including theft, assaults, attempted armed robbery and burglary.
Detectives found what appeared to be four explosive devices at the property, prompting them to call in the Bomb Response Unit.
The devices were later declared safe.
Officers also seized a number of weapons, including machetes, knives and hammers.
A 32-year-old man has been charged with burglary, affray, recruiting a child to engage in criminal activity, manufacturing an unauthorised explosive and possessing prohibited weapons.
He was remanded to appear before Bendigo Magistrates' Court on January 2.
A 41-year-old woman has been charged with theft and recruiting a child to engage in criminal activity.
She was bailed to appear before Bendigo Magistrates' Court on April 27.
