Post Malone brought in 2026 with a rendition of Collin Raye’s Nineties country song “That’s My Story” during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.
Malone donned a cowboy hat and blue jeans for the occasion, before belting out the track from Raye’s 1994 album, Extremes. “Well, I ain’t got a witness, and I can’t prove it, but that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it,” sang Malone onstage for the crowd.
This year’s Rockin’ Eve roster includes reigning Christmas queen Mariah Carey, Chappell Roan, 50 Cent, Ciara, 4 Non Blondes, Jessie Murph, Pitbull, Zara Larsson, Madison Beer, the singing voices of KPop Demon Hunters, Lil Jon, Charlie Puth, and Little Big Town.
Malone is wrapping up a wildly successful 2025. The Texas musician, who released his country LP F-1 Trillion the year before, made his explosive headlining debut at Coachella in April, performing his biggest hits throughout his career so far and bringing out Jelly Roll and Ed Sheeran for weekend two.
That same month, Malone kicked off the aptly titled “Big Ass Stadium Tour” in Salt Lake City, Utah, and wrapped the cross-country trek in San Francisco back in July. And in October, Malone celebrated the grand opening of his bar Posty’s in Downtown Nashville with Lainey Wilson and Brooks & Dunn, who both joined him on stage for the occasion.
