‘Predator: Badlands’ Is Coming Home Next Week
Kick the new year off with one of our favorite movies of 2025.
It’s been a great year for Predator, between the animated epic Killer of Killers and Badlands‘s team-up action making it one of our favorite films of the year. But if you were especially a fan of the latter, then there’s good news—Dek and Thia will be heading home very soon.
This morning 20th Century Studios announced that Predator: Badlands would finally release digitally next week on January 6, ahead of a wider home release the month after in February.
Starring Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, Badlands follows the young Yautja Dek (Schuster-Koloamatangi) as he ventures to the hostile world of Genna on a quest to prove himself to his father and clan by slaying a deadly beast. Encountering a heavily damaged Weyland-Yutani android on his arrival, Thia (Fanning), the unlikely pair find themselves teaming up to escape both Genna’s dangerous flora and fauna and the long reach of Thia’s creators.
As well as the film itself, the home release of Badlands will come with plenty of extra goodies, including an audio commentary for the film led by director Dan Trachtenberg, featurettes on the film’s approach to Predator culture and creating the world of Genna, and, of course, multiple deleted scenes. Check out the full details below!
