Track good 4 and rail out 6m from 900m to 400m and true the remainder.
RACE 1
6. Tropicana’s Cube is hard fit, and gets his chance in a weak race after the early clear fancy came out. Hasn’t had much luck over shorter trips, and was competitive in much better races than this earlier in the prep. 7. Shylock is a capable veteran that finds a thinner BM58 well into the campaign. 1. Wil To Excel has been given four weeks between runs over a shade further, and still racing OK for a 10-year-old.
How to play it: Tropicana’s Cube to win.

RACE 2
3. Shadow Dane is a very honest home-tracker well placed for a third win deep into the prep. Swept home to win in lesser grade before a fair effort from an awkward spot in a deeper BM66 here. Then beaten only a head in similar company at Tamworth three weeks back. Back a furlong in trip from a soft draw where he can settle a little closer in the run. 1. Burrowa is a tough Canberra sprinter that has won his past two and fought hard under pressure. Doubt the winner comes from anywhere else, but keep safe 2. Awesome Tycoon, which has been freshened since a fighting fourth-up win in similar company, while 7. Miss Bariloche is another one trained on the track that improves sharply over further.
How to play it: Shadow Dane to win.
RACE 3
8. Vicious Rumour is an underrated stablemate of the previous race selection that has only missed a place once in her past four. Stuck on strong at Wellington before being beaten by a promising one at Bathurst just before Xmas. Back at home on the bigger circuit and she can finish over them. 6. Magurtz is a lightly raced three-year-old set to peak at his third start. 4. Stuck In The Gorge has not been far away in two runs to start his career, and from the inside draw can either lead or sit right behind. Gap to the rest headed by 9. Zecchini, second up over a longer trip, and, at bigger odds, the locally trained 2. Codonas, also improving second up over further.
How to play it: Vicious Rumour to win.
RACE 4
7. Devilish Sun is an emerging three-year-old primed to break through at his second start. Was long odds when making up plenty of ground on debut behind a dominant winner that then was only beaten a nose in Saturday company. Bred to get further, but from a more economical draw where he can settle closer, only needs clear air from the 350m to run over them. 6. The Contractor is the clear threat, resuming for a handy country stable with blinkers back on. 9. Just Joan is deep into her prep, fading late after chasing a promising winner last start. 11. Star Whispe****rer has natural speed, and is a clear second-start improver.
How to play it: Devilish Sun to win.
RACE 5
1. Elite Power is suited fourth up in only his second prep off a quick turnaround and can cap a big day for the Michael Mulholland stable. Powered home for a dominant maiden win fresh before being ridden from further back and making up plenty of ground. He then ran home hard in deeper class at Orange six days ago. 5. Yorkel is a solid improver, banging on the door fourth up with some weight relief. 7. Sabatina is very honest having not missed a place in her past five. 8. Take The Chance is fifth up and goes in all wider exotic plays.
How to play it: Elite Power to win.
RACE 6
7. Press Forward is a tough home-tracker that can go back-to-back fourth up rising in grade. Backed from $4.80 into $3.40 when finishing hard to miss narrowly here in a handy BM58 before flashing home to score against similar opposition. 6. Wasted Days is an improving stablemate drawn to get a soft run inside. Major threat having tackled better races last campaign. 3. Brief Statement is on an eight-day back-up and dropping in grade. 8. Canamble is over the odds coming off a gallant class 3 win at Scone. 12. Rock ‘N’ Reign is each-way value if he gets a run, and can boost trifecta and first-four returns.
How to play it: Press Forward to win.

RACE 7
4. Hannah’s Bridge is a lightly raced mare set to go back-to-back up a shade in distance off a six-week freshen. Boxed on well when resuming here in a handy class 1 before sweeping home to trounce a better field at Muswellbrook. 1. Romantic Love is a tough local that has been in and around the money against similar opposition all prep. 3. Tom Vegas is a talented three-year-old that twice tackled group 3 company last campaign, and is a big watch resuming with gear changes off a quiet trial. 13. State Of Grace is trained on the course and has been in the money all four runs this prep, while watching the market on progressive 2. Silent Ace resuming from a wide gate behind a steady trial.
How to play it: Hannah’s Bridge to win.
