Search for schoolgirl, 12, who went missing near train station two days ago

Police are urgently searching for a 12-year-old schoolgirl who went missing near a train station two days ago.
Letia Tinkler was last spotted near Carlisle station at around 10pm on Tuesday, December 30.
The youngster has blonde hair and was wearing a black jacket, and black leggings.
Cumbria Police officers say they are increasingly concerned for her welfare and have urged anyone with any information to contact the force.
She has links to Lockerbie, Penrith, and Carlisle.

A spokesperson for the force said: 'Officers are concerned for Letia's welfare and are urging anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts to come forward.
'Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit quoting incident number 218 of 30 December 2025. You can also phone on 101.'
