Sherrie Hewson, 75, reveals exactly what she eats in a day to maintain her slim figure
In a new interview, Sherrie has revealed she isn't typically a breakfast fan and will often skip having a bite to eat.
Sherrie Hewson has revealed exactly what she eats in a day to maintain her slim figure for television - and the one food she is terrified of.
The actress, 75, has sported her slender frame for decades now and has shared her dietary secrets with fans.
In a new interview, Sherrie has revealed she isn't typically a breakfast fan and will often skip having a bite to eat.
However, if she does eat, she will have sourdough topped with crushed avocado, while adding olive oil, garlic, basil or chilli 'to give it flavour'.
When it comes to her usual lunch routine, it's a 'big, crunchy salad' as Sherrie explained: 'I might add a bit of tuna mixed with red onion, garlic and mayonnaise, but it has to be well-seasoned because tuna on its own is too bland.
'Dinner is often a stir fry, usually teriyaki chicken with coconut rice.'

Sherrie also revealed that she has a crippling phobia pf walnuts, and said how she almost 'passed out' when Kaye Adams placed one on the Loose Women panel.
Despite this, she is no stranger to trying exotic food and even gorged on bull testicles whilst abroad unbeknownst to her.
She explained to Closer magazine: 'Years ago in Cyprus, I was served what I thought were meatballs which turned out to be bull testicles, cooked as a local delicacy.
'I fled to the bathroom and was sick. I didn't tell anyone, everyone else was tucking in like it was normal.'
Meanwhile, last month Sherrie revealed she was once kicked under the table by her Loose Women co-star Coleen Nolan after making an 'outrageous' comment live on air.
The actress, 75, who appeared on the ITV show from 2003 to 2017, said that while nothing used to be off-limits during her early years on the panel, she recently discovered that speaking her mind can still land her in trouble with her former co-stars.
Speaking to The Sun, she recalled: 'I went on Loose Women a few months ago and I said something slightly outrageous – can't remember what it was now – and Coleen kicked me under the table.'
'I said, on air: "Don't kick me", and she replied: "But I like to kick you!" That's the kind of banter we need. The kind of atmosphere where it's OK to have a bit of a go at each other – and no hard feelings.'
