Concerning footage has emerged of an incident near an Adelaide shopping centre in which a young girl was allegedly stabbed - one of two wild brawls to break out in the city on New Year's Eve.
The vision shows two teenage girls appearing to punch and kick another girl on the ground shortly before 7pm at the Salisbury bus interchange, in the city's northeast.
Police said attending officers found a girl with a stab wound to her abdomen but her alleged attackers were nowhere to be seen.
The 12-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Three teenage girls, two aged 15 and one aged 14, were then arrested just after 7pm at the Mawson Lakes interchange.
SA Police have charged the girls each with affray and aggravated assault. The group allegedly caught a train after the stabbing.
The girl accused of stabbing the 12-year-old was also charged with assault causing harm.
