It has perhaps been the most dramatic wedding of the year with the disinvited list mounting up to be longer than the actual invite list.
Adam Peaty's parents were left heartbroken after his mother Caroline was disinvited from his wedding to Holly Ramsay.
However it wasn't just family feuds that affected the big day with his swimming pal Michael Gunning also struck off the guest list, while his Strictly partner Katya Jones also didn't attend.
Olympic gold medalist Michael was allegedly shunned from Adam, 31, and Holly Ramsay's, 25, nuptials after he got 'too close' to Adam's estranged mother amid the fallout.
Just days before their wedding, Michael shared a cryptic post about being 'dropped by friends and left broken by them' as he reflected on the past year.
Michael wrote: 'Wishing everyone a magical and festive week! This year has been crazy… I’ve travelled the world, had incredible new opportunities, learnt more about myself, made mistakes and taken risks, been dropped by friends, but made unexpected new ones, been told “no” far too many times but stepped fully outside of my comfort zone.

'Life isn’t always perfect, and if you’d told me two years ago where I’d be now, I wouldn’t have believed you. But I’m learning that change can be a really beautiful thing and you should never stop fighting for your dream!'
Sources claim that Michael - who did attend the newlyweds' engagement party last year - was uninvited because he got too close to Caroline.
Meanwhile professional dancer Katya was another person who appeared to be snubbed from the star-studded wedding.
Katya who was paired with Adam during the BBC show's 2021 series, was not spotted at the ceremony, yet his fellow Strictly competitors Dan Walker and Sara Davies made the guest list.
Taking herself off Instagram over the festive period, Katya then returned to Instagram to reveal she had spent the week at home after deleting 'toxic' social media for a week, to reveal she had spent the weekend at home.
Sharing a snap of herself with a book in front of a roaring fire she penned: 'I've been off social media for a week. Had Instagram and TikTok deleted. Hence sharing of the old post now'.
It is thought Adam and newsreader Dan have struck up a friendship due to their shared strong faith.
Dan has spoken openly about being a devout Christian and goes as far as to not work on a Sunday in account of his religious beliefs.

Meanwhile Adam has attributed his newfound Christian faith as the key that saved him during his battle with depression and alcoholism.
Adam's elder sister Bethany was the only member of his family to survive the bitter feud as she attended his wedding as one of the bridesmaids alongside Holly's sisters Tilly and Megan.
Walking arm in arm with the bride's sisters Tilly and Megan, Bethany beamed as she headed into the Abbey, whilst her heartbroken mother Caroline watched on 130 miles away in the Staffordshire family home, which she once shared with her estranged son and Bethany.
But whilst the newlyweds have jetted away from the family drama and headed off on honeymoon, Bethany has been left to face the music.
Insiders have claimed that Bethany's decision to not only attend the wedding but also to accept such a prominent role in the bridal party has left her mother feeling 'betrayed.'
Adam's broken–hearted mother Caroline was said to be 'beside herself' with grief at missing what should have been one of the happiest days of her life.
According to new reports on Sunday, Adam's father Mark was the only person beside Beth asked to attend their big day, however he was told he'd have to sit at the back 'behind the plus ones'.
Adam also has two brother, James and Richard, who were also both barred from the wedding.
James, 34, was arrested over allegations he sent threats to the sportsman during his stag weekend.
He was questioned by police for two days before being released on conditional bail after allegations he sent Adam, 30, a barrage of verbal threats while he was celebrating his stag weekend in the Hungarian capital of Budapest.

A family source told the Daily Mail in November: 'The boys have always been close, and Jamie, who is a builder, even helped Adam renovate his house.
'They've always got on, but Adam has changed with his new celebrity lifestyle and family.
'Now James has a potential charge hanging over his head and his parents have the headache of being disinvited and banned from their son's wedding.
'This is so hurtful and distressing for our family.'
James sent a pointed message with a 'dark hidden meaning' to his sibling after the nuptials as he posted an old photograph with their mother Caroline standing outside of the wedding venue.
The poignant photo was deleted just 15 minutes after it was shared on his Instagram Story, perhaps signalling regret at how bitter the feud has become.
Adam has also been accused of 'brutally' uninviting his great aunt Janet and uncle Eddie from his wedding.
A source said: 'They got an automated message basically saying they were off the guest list and to respect Adam and Holly's decision.'
Meanwhile father of the bride Gordon reportedly made a brutal dig at his new son-in-law's parents in his speech.
Gordon, 59, waded into the Peaty family drama by saying his wife Tana 'will be a good mum to them both', according to a new report in The Sun which also claims Adam has now blocked his family from messaging him.
They report that in his father of the bride speech Gordon commented on how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a 'lucky man', adding: 'Look at Tana and that's what you have to look forward to.'
The publication goes on to claim that Gordon couldn't resist a sly dig at Adam's absent parents he told his daughter Holly: 'Shame you don't have the same.'
Adam's estranged mother is 'outraged' and 'hurt' that Gordon referred to their bitter family feud in his explosive father of the bride speech, a family source has said.
Adam's 'distraught' mother Caroline was spotted the day after her son got married without her in attendance
Caroline Peaty, who was banned from the lavish ceremony, believes the celebrity chef had 'pre planned' the cruel swipe against her.
A family source told the Daily Mail: 'Caroline can't believe Gordon brought their family troubles up his speech. It is outrageous and very hurtful.'
'By him saying Tana will be a good mum to them both makes Caroline sound like a bad mum. It was a cruel dig at her.
'She has always done her best for all her children. She is a very good mum. Who says this wasn't pre-planned.?'
The source added: 'We may not have much as a family but we have values.'
