New details have emerged about the release of Israeli-Russian academic Elizabeth Tsurkov, who was held hostage by the Shiite militia Kataib Hezbollah in Iraq for more than two years. In a joint interview aired on Thursday with her sister and U.S. hostage envoy Adam Boehler, Tsurkov described her sudden release and confirmed that neither the U.S. nor Israel paid any concessions to secure her freedom.
