Super Bowl odds: Rams, Seahawks are co-favorites ahead of Broncos, 49ers
The NFC West has three teams in the top five of Super Bowl odds. Two of them play this Saturday.
You could say the story of the 2025 NFL season has been unpredictability and disruption of the recent status quo. You could also say the story of the 2025 NFL season has simply been the steady march of dominance by the NFC West.
With the final week of the regular season upon us, three teams from the NFC West are in the top five in the odds to win the Super Bowl. The Los Angeles Rams, the favorites for the last several weeks, are now tied with the Seattle Seahawks (+550), while the surging San Francisco 49ers are +850.
The other two spots go to the top two teams in the AFC standings: The Denver Broncos at +800, and the New England Patriots, tied with the Philadelphia Eagles, at +900. The Jacksonville Jaguars, who still have a shot at clinching the AFC’s No. 1 seed, are further down at +1400.
Here are the odds and breakdown of the NFC and AFC scenarios.

Here’s the line movement on BetMGM for the top favorites, from opening odds to now:
- Rams +2200 (or 22-to-1) to +550
- Seahawks +6000 (60-1) to +550
- Broncos +3000 (30-1) to +800
- 49ers +1300 (13-1) to +850
- Patriots +12500 (125-to-1!!!) to +900
NFC (West) dominance
The Rams stampeded into the top position after beating the Seahawks in Week 11. The week before, L.A. was in second behind the Kansas City Chiefs, who are now out of playoff contention. Since then, the Rams have held the top spot in the odds, even after losing to the Seahawks in Week 16.
But their baffling loss to the Falcons last week finally made a dent. Their odds lengthened from +450 last week to +550, right as the Seahawks shortened their odds from +600 to +550 with a win over the Panthers.
The Rams, interestingly, are already locked into a wild-card spot in the playoffs, while the Seahawks and 49ers are on a collision course in the season finale.
The Seahawks will clinch the division and the NFC’s No. 1 seed with a win OR a tie, while the 49ers will get the division and the No. 1 seed with a win. Expect a shift in Super Bowl odds based on which team gets the extra rest, meaning this might be a good time to buy in on the Niners.
AFC picture: Get used to the new normal
Yes, the Patriots opened at 125-to-1 odds and are now looking at a breezy 9-to-1.
The perennial top AFC seed, the Chiefs, are out, and their traditional biggest rival, the Buffalo Bills, are behind the Pats at +1000 (10-to-1 odds). Truly the Upside-Down. Or just … the year 2017?
The Broncos started the season with a bit more public faith than New England, though it took the odds and analysts a while to really catch up to their level of play.
With Week 18 action, the Broncos, Patriots and Jaguars all still have a path to the AFC’s No. 1 seed, though the Broncos have the easiest one: All they have to do is beat the Chargers on Sunday to lock up that top seed and extra rest, which can’t hurt their Super Bowl chances.
