On November 9, 2025, police surrounded the Givat Ronen outpost in the West Bank. Dozens of officers patrolled the outpost, set up roadblocks at its entrance, and prevented anyone from entering or leaving. These extraordinary preventative measures followed the previous day's violent outburst, when Palestinians, activists and journalists who were taking part in the olive harvest near the village of Beita were attacked by dozens of settlers who descended on them from the nearby outpost.
