Matt Remick has finally gotten the recognition he’s been chasing all season. The Studio took home the prize for for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy during the Golden Globes on Sunday, and for a show that dedicated an entire episode to the awards show and the satire of the Hollywood elite, it was a real-life moment to behold star Seth Rogen acknowledge those who weren’t in the room to celebrate the moment with the rest of those on stage.
“Half our writers are at table one, and the other half are at table 228, but they made it!” Rogen joked while accepting the award. “I really want to thank our crew, most of whom don’t get invited to this, but they should.”
In accepting the award, Rogen revealed Season Two of the AppleTV+ series would start filming next week.

The series contended with Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building, and Nobody Wants This. Stars Rogen took home the award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a TV Show, Musical or Comedy and Catherine O’Hara was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, Television.
“At its core, it’s a workplace comedy,” co-creator Evan Goldberg told Rolling Stone back in October. “It is about a boss and his team.” “We wanted to show that my character and a lot of the other characters are actual ‘movie people,’” said Rogen of the beloved show. “Not everyone in Hollywood is a movie person, but these people are, and as frustrated as they are with the process, they ultimately believe in movies.”
This year’s Golden Globes was hosted by Nikki Glaser, who resurrected last year’s ceremony from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. The ceremony is being broadcast on CBS and Paramount+.
