Oppositin leaders belonging to 'the left' like Naftali Bennett, Avigdor Lieberman and Yair Lapid are afraid to cooperate with Israeli-Arab parties not because they fear right-wingers, but because they fear Arabs
What Benjamin Netanyahu has done since 2015 is expand the range of political possibilities of the right while shrinking that of the left. It is now acceptable to form a government with Kahanist and extremists settlers, but for the left, forming a government with Arab parties is beyond the pale.
