Documentation of the protests remains limited due to a prolonged internet shutdown across the country. Activists say they are attempting to bypass the blackout through alternative means.
In messages sent via Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet service, protesters appealed to international media to maintain coverage of the unrest, warning that security forces are firing on demonstrators and killing people in the streets.

Sources added that the leaders discussed the major anti-regime protests in Iran, the situation in Syria, and efforts for a peace deal in Gaza.

Rahman "expressed Bangladesh's interest in principle to be part of the international stabilization force that would be deployed in Gaza," a Bangladeshi government statement added.
It did not mention the extent or nature of its proposed involvement.
The State Department had no immediate comment.
A U.N. Security Council resolution, adopted in mid-November, authorized a so-called Board of Peace to establish a temporary International Stabilization Force in Gaza where a cease-fire began in October.
IDF: Unclear if attempted ramming of soldiers was a terrorist attack
There are no clear findings that the attempted ramming attack in the West Bank's Haret al-Sheikh area, which occurred on Saturday, was an attempted terrorist attack, the IDF said in a statement.
The incident is being investigated.
This comes after earlier reports that a vehicle had tried to run over soldiers in the West Bank city of Hebron. Soldiers operating in the area responded by shooting at the driver, who was arrested and taken for treatment. He was later pronounced dead by IDF fire.
No IDF injuries were reported.

Participants demanded that Israel not proceed to a second phase of any agreement until Ran is brought home.
U.S. strikes ISIS targets in Syria, military announces
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces, alongside partner forces, conducted large-scale strikes against multiple ISIS targets across Syria on Saturday, announced CENTCOM.
The strikes "are part of Operation Hawkeye Strike, which was launched and announced on Dec. 19, 2025, at the direction of President Trump, in direct response to the deadly ISIS attack on U.S. and Syrian forces in Palmyra, Syria, on Dec. 13, 2025. That ambush, carried out by an ISIS terrorist, resulted in the tragic deaths of two American soldiers and one U.S. civilian interpreter."
"The strikes today targeted ISIS throughout Syria as part of our ongoing commitment to root out Islamic terrorism against our warfighters, prevent future attacks, and protect American and partner forces in the region. U.S. and coalition forces remain resolute in pursuing terrorists who seek to harm the United States."

Protest speakers slam Netanyahu's 'messianic' government, demand state commission of inquiry
At a demonstration against the government at Tel Aviv's Habima Square on Saturday, several speakers criticized the Netanyahu coalition's perpetual warmongering and evasion of responsibility for October 7.
Former Shin Bet chief Ami Ayalon accused the government, "led by a messianic minority," of perpetuating the war to maintain its rule. "This evil government is a rebellious government – which we must overthrow," he declared. "It betrays the values of the Declaration of Independence, it tramples on the judiciary and leads an eternal war towards the end of the Zionist vision."

Reut Edri, whose son was murdered at the Nova Festival on October 7, and one of the founders of the October Council, said the group is "declaring war from this stage. Not because we have a choice, but because we are being fought."
She addressed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "You send your minions to the TV studios to repeat the same sentence: 'He is responsible, he is not guilty.' Go ahead, establish a state commission of inquiry and prove it," she said, referring to Likud ministers' statements on Channel 14, and the lawmakers' boycott of Channel 12 following footage leaked showing a Palestinian detainee being abused at Sde Teima detention center.

Former Haaretz columnist Alon Pinkas received hundreds of thousands of dollars for more than a year from a company controlled by Jay Footlik, a lobbyist for Qatar, while he was working for the newspaper.
During that period, Footlik worked to advance Doha's interests in Israel and put together a campaign on its behalf. Several columns Pinkas wrote for Haaretz included statements resembling talking points from the campaign Footlik drafted. Pinkas said in response that he had no connection to the Qatari campaign and was unaware it existed. He said he was asked to help Footlik meet with Israeli hostage families and journalists even before he was paid, and that he later received payments for more than a year in exchange for drafting three policy papers for other clients.
