Two men flown to hospital after Bonnie Doon boat fire
Emergency services were on Monday called to a Lake Eildon boat ramp where two men had sustained serious injuries in a fire.
Two teenagers have been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after their boat caught fire in Lake Eildon at Bonnie Doon on Monday.
Emergency services were called to a boat ramp off Hutchisons Road about 2:10pm, where they found a burning boat.
Two 18-year-olds were airlifted to The Alfred hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Nearby jet skiers were seen in video footage attempting to help douse the blaze. (Supplied)
A Country Fire Authority crew was able to bring the blaze under control within 15 minutes.
Police say an investigation is continuing, but they do not believe the fire is suspicious at this stage.
