Yet another Labour Party lie exposed. The government, in one of its first acts, imposed VAT on school fees for private schools. It was the first time it ever happened in this country.
They were warned not to do it. They were told it would have a huge and detrimental impact on the state sector and I’ll explain why. Because in the 12 months since that VAT has been imposed, 105 private schools have been forced to close.
