A guest remains in hospital on Saturday after almost drowning at a Gold Coast theme park on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to WhiteWater World, Dreamworld’s sister park at Coomera, shortly after 2pm.
Paramedics treated the patient for injuries related to water inhalation before taking them to Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition.

On Saturday morning, the hospital confirmed the patient was now stable.
The guest had been pulled from the water at the Cave of Waves attraction, a 50-metre-long wave pool along the south-west edge of the park.
A statement from the theme park on Friday said it was working with emergency services as required.
“Our highly trained lifeguards responded immediately, and Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene promptly,” the statement read.
“The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members is our highest priority.”
A WhiteWater World spokesperson confirmed the park returned to normal operations after emergency services left.
