Watch: Drunk Bengaluru techie jumps divider crashes into wall of Barbeque Nation

A software engineer, driving under the influence of alcohol, narrowly missed causing a major tragedy in Bengaluru. He lost control of his car, jumped a road median on Indiranagar's 100 Feet Road, and crashed into a restaurant wall. Fortunately, pedestrians and other vehicles escaped unharmed, though two vehicles were damaged.
A speeding, intoxicated driver narrowly avoided a serious accident in Bengaluru late Thursday, crashing his Skoda into the outer wall of Barbeque Nation on Indiranagar's 100 Feet Road. The driver, who was under the influence of alcohol, failed to negotiate a left turn, going over the road divider. He has been detained, and legal action is underway.
