What's the point of a trial if Netanyahu's court commentator already knows how it ends?

I received a picture from Miami, from one of the balls the Netanyahus attended during their recent U.S. visit. In the center is Jacob Bardugo – a commentator on Israel's right-wing Channel 14 News – in a black suit and a ridiculous bow tie, engrossed in his cellphone. Next to him at the table is Danny Danon, or Ofir Akunis, or Tzachi Braverman. Sometimes I struggle to tell them apart. But Bardugo is hard to miss. After all, he's the only colleague who was granted the privilege of asking Donald Trump a question at Mar-a-Lago.
